- Attorney and Director with the law firm McKinney & Stringer- Special emphasis in employment and civil rights trial work
While with McKinney & Stringer Jim founded and led the employment services division of the firm, ultimately supervising ten attorneys and numerous staff members. Jim was also a member of the firm’s Executive Committee, Management Committee, and, at various times, was the responsible partner overseeing the administrative section of the firm.

Special emphasis in employment and civil rights trial work. Co-founder of www.employmentarmor.com an employment law related website providing information and answers to workplace issues and about the legal and educational services offered by the law firm Whitten, Burrage, Priest.
Adjunct Faculty member, Southern Nazarene University, 1982-1985 in undergraduate Political Science department; 2006 to present, teaching business ethics in MBA program
